Christian

Class 63

Christian has lived in several places, but he calls Charlotte home. When he was 18 years old, he joined the Navy because he wanted to help people. He worked as a Navy diver in Florida and California, but was mainly stationed in Norfolk, VA. After the Navy, Christian wanted to learn more skills before going back to work. He completed an internship and received a certification for computer coding, but he always knew that he liked to cook. After meeting Victor at a job fair, he realized he couldn’t pass up this great opportunity at CCSC. Currently, Christian likes making a summer quesadilla with pineapples, rice, chicken and cheese. After graduation, he hoped to become a dietitian and continue his mission of helping people. He also wouldn’t mind finding a job on a cruise ship! “Anyone who is interested in the culinary field should apply to the School, because it has a great job placement program, you’re learning new skills, and it’s a great hands-on experience,” says Christian. Christian is so appreciative to Patriot Military Family Foundation, whose support through CCSC helped pay for the cost of Christian’s training.
