Terry is from Salisbury, NC and he has five kids ranging from 4 years old to 14 years old. He is currently the head chef at VibeZ Lounge in Salisbury. Terry has been cooking for years now, but he still wanted to further his cooking skills. He knew he had a lot to learn about working in a commercialized kitchen, so he started searching for culinary programs in NC. When he learned it was tuition-free for students, Terry knew he had to enroll. He has loved working alongside the CCSC Chefs and learning something new every day. After graduation Terry would like to work under seasoned chefs in a 5-star restaurant, along with purchasing a food truck and expanding his catering business. He currently caters all types of events from weddings to family gatherings. His specialties are based on southern cuisine from higher end seafood dishes, such as sea bass to French cut rack of lamb. In addition to that, he also has a strong passion of a BBQ smoker.
