Michael most recently lived in Colorado, where he was doing construction work. He moved to Charlotte about two years ago to help take care of his Mom after she was diagnosed with cancer. Michael himself has spent a lot of time in the hospital taking care of his own health, but he feels like he is getting better. In his free time, he enjoys fishing. Michael became interested in the culinary field when he started cooking the meals for his Mom when she was sick. It was the first time that he got into cooking seriously, so he decided he wanted to consider going to school for it. When he looked up culinary schools, CCSC was the first one to appear. He’s enjoyed the whole experience so far. Michael is hearing impaired, and he hasn’t been able to read lips with the masks, so he really appreciates the patience that everyone has shown him. Welcome to Class 67, Michael!
