“It’s important to find something you love to do.” Jennifer is a devoted wife and mom to two and is ready to come back into the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for eight years. “Life is too short to do something you don’t want to do. I want to work somewhere every day that doesn’t feel like a job.” She enjoys cooking and wants to get established in Charlotte’s culinary scene, so she enrolled at CCSC. Because they are currently a one income family, Jennifer appreciated the no-cost tuition that CCSC offers, as well as the flexibility to work with her schedule. After graduation, she hopes to work for a bakery that will allow her the work-life balance she wants, because family time is what’s most important to her. When asked for advice to future students, Jennifer said, “Be willing to learn and listen. You’re here to learn – remember that.”
