Class 79

“This is going to be it for me.” Every morning, Daniella gets up, gets her three children ready for the day, drops them off at daycare, and then makes it to School before 8:30am, all while coming from Gastonia. It is obvious that she is family oriented and dedicated to what she puts her mind to. When it comes to the culinary world, Daniella says, “it’s all in the family. Everyone cooks.” Her brother attended a traditional culinary university, but Daniella knew she needed something more hands on. “When I first heard about CCSC, I thought it was too good to be true. I came here and saw it wasn’t, and I knew this was going to be it for me.” Daniella says that before attending CCSC, she had never cooked anywhere outside of her own kitchen. She was excited for the new experiences ahead. After graduation, Daniella is going to use the skills she learned in Class 79 to work with her brother on his food truck. “I came here to get experience, but I’m going to leave ready to try new things.”
