Maria is from Columbia and has lived in Indian Trail for 24 years. She has one son and two stepsons. In Columbia, Maria was in the insurance business, but when she moved to Indian Trail, she started her own company selling wholesale phone cards. Maria has always enjoyed running her own business and wants to continue learning different skills. Maria did not know much about cooking, but she wanted to learn. So she looked up culinary schools on the internet and found CCSC. She says that CCSC has been an amazing place to learn with the best coaching she’s ever experienced. She has also learned that she really prefers baking. After she graduates, Maria would like to continue learning the business side of running a restaurant. If she was to open her own, she would like to open a café selling sandwiches, muffins and coffee. Welcome to Class 68, Maria!
