Christopher was born in Richmond, VA, but he considers Charlotte home since he’s been here for over 20 years. Christopher has never been a big cooker at home, but he wants to learn and use those skills because most of his jobs have been in retail or food industry. He wants to start feeling more comfortable in a working kitchen environment, so that he can look for jobs in that area in particular. His mom read about CCSC from a flyer at church and told Christopher about it. He is currently working at Food Lion but would like a second job working in a more culinary field. He sees CCSC as an opportunity for learning, as well as a resource for gaining employment at a higher rate. Since coming to CCSC, he’s learned the value of teamwork. Welcome to Class 68, Christopher!
