Lemon Parmesan Tilapia


Lemon Parmesan Tilapia

Ingredients

2 ½ pounds tilapia fillets

2-4 teaspoons butter

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided

1 cup mayonnaise

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Lemon slices

Fresh parsley

Instructions

Top tilapia fillets with butter and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.  Broil about 4 inches from the source of heat for 5 to 6 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily when tested. 

Combine mayonnaise, remaining lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.

Top each portion of fish with 1 to 2 tablespoons of the sauce and broil 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce puffs and turns golden brown.  Place fillets on serving plate and garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.
