Lemon Dijon Honey Mustard Wings


¼ cup olive oil

2 pounds chicken wings

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons course-grained Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

7 cloves of garlic, chopped

4 tablespoons honey


In a large bowl, stir together olive oil, lemon juice and mustard. Mix until well incorporated. Add wings, tightly cover. Marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator, occasionally turning chicken wings to ensure even coating.

Preheat grill for high heat. Drain marinade from chicken into small saucepan. Bring marinade to a boil, add honey, simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside for roasting.

Lightly oil grill grate. Grill wings for 10 to 15 minutes or until done. Frequently baste with marinade during the last 5 minutes.

Serve hot.
