Cold Melon Afternoon
2 cantaloupes, pealed, seeded and cut into chunks
1 pint club soda
1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup fresh mint, finely chopped
1 cup lemon juice
In blender, puree cantaloupe. Combine all ingredients in large pitcher and mix well. Place in refrigerator and chil for 2 hours.
Serves six guests.
